literature: summer reads

My favorite way to pass time during the summer is by lying in the sun on the beach. But one can't spend all day in the salt water! I love to pack up a towel, picnic, and a good book to relax. I've taken a special interest in the books above and I plan on toting them to the beach with me.

Though school can get a little crazy and I haven't been a good little blogger or snail mail writer, I almost always set aside some time for reading. I typically keep a soft cover in my backpack for my 45 minute subway ride and I squeeze in a bit of Austen before bed but even that doesn't seem like enough. There are just too many books and not enough time! Though I seem deprived of my "me time," I of course have a few favorites to share.
